| H. Willard Ortlip (1886–1964) was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and was a pupil of William Merritt Chase and Cecilia Beaux. He is best-known for his portraits and still life in oil and acrylic; he also did mural commissions. |
