22 PENNSYLVANIA ARMY
NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY
926 So. Logan Ave.
The Sheridan Troop
— later Troop B, 104th Cavalry — was
organized July 15, 1871. Its first armory was located
on Blair Ave. and acted as a social center as well. The
present building contained the Administration Building
and was dedicated in 1912. In 1917–1918, a riding
hall and stables were added. In 1989, the building was
listed on the National Register of Historic
Places.
