The Loyal Order of Moose #25 was established on October 1, 1909. After meeting in three different locations, this fine home was built and then dedicated on Labor Day, September 2, 1929. The second floor hall was a social center in the 1930s and 40s. Benedicts’ dances, high school banquets and dances, and other organizations’ events were held here. Moose members served Christmas dinners to the needy for many years from this facility.
